Police say stolen SUV last driven by COVID-19 positive person

Police say a 2010 Ford Edge similar to this model was stolen. The last person who drove it is a person who tested positive for coronavirus.

Someone who stole an SUV from the the Hybla Valley area earlier this week may have gotten more than they bargained for: A close encounter with coronavirus.

The Fairfax County Police said Wednesday that a 2010 Ford Edge stolen from the 3200 block of Napper Road (see map) was last operated by a person who tested positive for coronavirus.

The vehicle was stolen between 7 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m Monday. It’s burgundy and has the license plate OPA05.
