Police investigating death in Penn Daw area

The Fairfax County Police are investigating the death of a man in the Penn Daw area.

Police notified the public via Twitter on Friday morning that a death investigation was underway in the 3000 block of Furman Lane, which is the location of the Kings Gardens Apartments (see map).

Police said the scene was contained to the apartment complex, and that there was no threat to public safety. No further information was released via Twitter.

FCPD spokesman Sgt. Scott Reynolds said Friday afternoon that detectives were still investigating and that no other information about the incident was available yet.
