Lusk, Storck to hold virtual town hall meetings

Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk will be holding a digital town hall meeting Friday morning at 11:20 a.m., while Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck will be hosting one on Saturday.

Both meetings will obviously be about the coronavirus pandemic that has sickened hundreds in the Fairfax County alone, shuddered many businesses and closed schools for the rest of the school year.

Lusk’s meeting will run until 1:20 p.m. and can be viewed here. The meeting will feature:

  • U.S Rep. Don Beyer (D-8)
  • Del. Mark Sickles (D-43)
  • Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano
  • Mount Vernon District school board representative Karen Corbett Sanders

Lusk also says that members of the non-profit and business communities in Lee District will participate.

Storck’s meeting will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, and it can be seen on Facebook or on Channel 16 (online stream here). The town hall will include:

  • Mount Vernon District school board representative Karen Corbett Sanders
  • Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Brabrand
  • Fairfax County Health Director Dr. Gloria Addo-Ayensu
