West Potomac looking for Athletic Hall of Fame nominations

West Potomac has only existed since 1985, but the school has an athletic history as rich as just about any high school in Fairfax County. Now the school wants to know: Who do YOU think belongs in its athletic hall of fame?

If there’s someone you’d like to nominate, you can download a nomination form here. It is due by March 15.

Last year 10 athletes, coaches and administrators were inducted into the inaugural class of the West Potomac Athletic Hall of Fame:

  • Billy Beal (Football, Basketball and Baseball)
  • Katie Beal (Field Hockey, Basketball and Soccer)
  • Don Beeby (Cross Country, Track and Field)
  • Jeff Dietze (Director of Student Activities)
  • Chrissie Edmundson Ott (Cross Country, Field Hockey and Track and Field)
  • Mary Fiedor (Athletic Trainer)
  • Tiombe Hurd (Track and Field)
  • Dan Meier (Football)
  • Willie Pile (Football and Basketball)
  • Ann Rosamond Repczynski (Field Hockey, Basketball and Softball)
