Mount Vernon Town Meeting this Saturday

Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck will be hosting the 33rd annual Mount Vernon Town Meeting this Saturday at Mount Vernon High School.

The meeting will include an exhibit hall beginning at 7:45 a.m., followed by a session at 9:30 a.m. in the school’s auditorium that will speakers, a “virtual tour” of the district and a question-and-answer period.

Speakers at this year’s event will include Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay, County Executive Bryan Hill, Mount Vernon District School Board representative Karen Corbett Sanders, Fort Belvoir Garrison Commander Col. Michael Greenberg, Rep. Gerry Connolly and Fairfax County Economic Development Authority President Victor Hoskins.

Storck will again lead the “virtual tour” of the Mount Vernon District, which in the past has highlighted recently completed and in-progress projects around the area.
