New Lee District Supervisor Rodney Lusk will be hosting his first open house this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The open house will be held at the Franconia Governmental Center at 6121 Franconia Road (see map). The governmental center is home to Lusk’s office, the Franconia District police station and the Franconia Museum.

Members of the community are invited to meet Lusk and his staff, as well as officers from the Franconia District police station. Food will be served and there will be a raffle, prizes and an art exhibit by the Springfield Art Guild.

Lusk began his term on January 1. He ran unopposed in the 2019 general election after winning a four-way primary for the Democratic nomination in June. A resident of the Hayfield area, he previously worked for the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority.

Lusk replaces Jeff McKay, who is now Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. McKay had been Lee District Supervisor since 2008.
