From Thursday’s blotter:

Traffic Pursuit: An officer attempted to stop a Toyota Scion for a traffic violation near the intersection of Richmond Highway and Central Avenue around 11:20 p.m. on December 23. The driver sped off resulting in a pursuit. Isaac Sarpong, 29, of Fredericksburg pulled over a short time later. He was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I/II drug, possession of marijuana, driving on a suspended/revoked license and eluding.
