Police blotter: Two robberies reported over weekend
A pair of robberies were reported in the Richmond Highway area this past weekend, according to Monday’s Fairfax Police blotter.
The first robbery happened a little after 5 p.m. Friday afternoon in the Penn Daw area. Police say that a man pulled a knife and demanded personal property from a person who was entering an apartment building in the 6300 block of South Kings Highway (see map).
The second robbery happened around 2:25 a.m. Saturday morning in the 7900 block of Janna Lee Avenue (see map). Police say a woman who was walking to her car was approached by a man who demanded money then took cash from her purse and ran away.
No injuries were reported in either robbery.
