Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a good driving record. They must also be able to pass a physical exam, drug screening and background check. To become a driver you must be able to complete a five-week training program and obtain a commercial driver’s license.
Benefits for drivers include:

Drivers are also allowed to bring their infant and/or preschool age children on the bus.
Full-time drivers get a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours a week, with more hours typically available. There are also summer hours available. Shifts are generally between 6 to 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 5 p.m.
The Gerry Hyland Governmental Center (formerly the South County Governmental Center) is located at 8350 Richmond Highway (see map).
Not bad pay, fcps substitute teachers only get 15.00 an hour, could explain the constant shortage they are always having
