A man wearing a mask robbed a Penn Daw area 7-Eleven at gunpoint on Wednesday night, according to the Fairfax County Police.

The robbery happened around 11:40 p.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 6138 North Kings Highway (see map). The man threatened the store clerk with the gun and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported by the police.

While 7-Eleven holdups are not uncommon along the Route 1 corridor, it had been more than four months since the police reported one in the highway area.
