The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce is looking for a few extra hands to help with the group’s annual cleanup of Jeff Todd Way.

The cleanup will be held Saturday, October 26 at 8 a.m. The volunteers will meet at the Roy Rogers at 8860 Richmond Highway to pickup garbage bags, safety vests and work assignments. Complimentary coffee and hot chocolate will be provided.

Student groups are welcome to volunteer, anyone interested can get more information on the Chamber’s website here.

Jeff Todd Way is named for a former Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce chairman and community leader who died in 2011. Jeff Todd owned three Roy Rogers restaurants in the Richmond Highway area, including the one at the corner of Richmond Highway and the street that now bears his name.
