Ghaisar protest
Family, friends and supporters of Bijan Ghaisar, the man who died in November 2017 after being shot by two U.S. Park Police officers on Fort Hunt Road, held a protest Monday morning at the Interior Department. The protest was in response to the recent promotion of Park Police Chief Robert MacLean.
Marking five years since Graham’s death
Last week marked the fifth anniversary of the the day that Hannah Graham, a 2013 graduate of West Potomac High School, went missing. Then a sophomore at the University of Virginia, Graham disappeared Sept. 13, 2014 after a night out and was later found murdered. Her killer is serving now serving life in prison.
