Police blotter August 2-4: Stolen car recovered at motel

The FCPD reported a relatively quiet weekend in the Mount Vernon police district, with no violent crimes listed on Monday’s blotter.

Stolen Auto with Apprehension: On Saturday around 4 p.m. officers looking for a stolen vehicle found it in the parking lot of the Moon Inn at 6140 Richmond Highway (see map). A 27-year-old Washington D.C. man was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.
