Police blotter: Pair robs man at gunpoint
The following incidents from this past weekend in the Mount Vernon police district were reported in Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
Robbery: On July 19 around 10 p.m. a man was walking in the 7800 block of Belford Drive (see map) when two people approached, pulled a handgun and demanded his property. The pair took items from the victim and ran away.
The first suspect was described as a black male, wearing a white tank top and black pants. The second suspect was described as a black female who had several tattoos.
Burglary: Between July 19 and July 21 someone entered a home in the 5600 block of Fenwick Drive (see map) and stole several electronic items.
Larceny: 1700 block of Gates Street, property from residence
Larceny: 3100 block of Lockheed Boulevard, cosmetics from business
Larceny: 3100 block of Lockheed Boulevard, wine from business
Larceny: 1600 block of Paul Spring Road, purse from vehicle
Larceny: 6300 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
Larceny: 6300 block of Richmond Highway, property from business
Larceny: 6600 block of Richmond Highway, cigarettes from business
Larceny: 7400 block of Richmond Highway, wallet from location
Larceny: 7600 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
Larceny: 7800 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
Larceny: 8000 block of Richmond Highway, beer from business
Larceny: 8600 block of Richmond Highway, merchandise from business
Stolen Vehicle: 7100 block of Churchill Road, 2010 Ford Escape
Stolen Vehicle: 1600 block of International Drive, 2009 Honda Accord
