FCPS announces hiring of new Clermont principal

Fairfax County Public Schools announced Monday that Roxanne Salata has been hired as Clermont Elementary School’s new principal.
Salata comes to Clermont after serving as principal at Ravensworth Elementary in Springfield since 2013. She replaces Anne Stokowski, who retired.
Salata has worked in education for 23 years, and has held positions in FCPS at Mosby Woods Elementary and Lane Elementary, according to an FCPS press release. She holds a master of science in educational leadership from NOVA Southeastern University.
Clermont is part of the Edison High School pyramid, and pulls students from the eastern end of the 22310 zip code. It is located off of Franconia Road at 5720 Clermont Drive (see map).
