Magic Wok Cafe in Belle View closes, Japanese restaurant to move in

Magic Wok Cafe in the Belle View Shopping Center has closed, and it appears another restaurant is already poised to move in.

A sign on Magic Wok Cafe’s door on Monday said that the restaurant’s lease had ended, and thanked customers for their support over the years.

Another sign at the location, which is at 1508A Belle View Boulevard (see map), showed that a restaurant named Kobe Japanese Cuisine has applied for a Virginia ABC license to serve beer and wine at a future restaurant at the location.

An attempt to reach a representative from Kobe Japanese Cuisine was unsuccessful.
