Police blotter: Shots fired at home, car in Woodlawn area
The police are investigation a shooting that happened Sunday night in the Woodlawn area, according to Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
Nobody was reported injured in the shooting, which happened around 11:45 p.m. in the 8300 block of Pondside Terrace (see map). Officers were called to the house for a report of gunshots, and when they arrived they found that a home and a vehicle had been shot multiple times.
Police did not say how many shots were fired approximately, but said that “numerous” shell casings were found outside the home. There were people inside the home at the time of the incident, police reported.
