Police blotter: Brawl ends in four arrests; bias crime reported

Four men are facing charges after allegedly getting into a fight Wednesday night in the 8200 block of Richmond Highway (see map).

Police say they responded to the brawl around 8:05 p.m., but declined to say specifically where it happened. The fight was apparently a two-on-two matchup, police said, with Nathaniel Wilcox, 25, and Kareem Joyner, 24, allegedly squaring off with Nehemiah Coleman, 29, and Curtis Lewis, 36.

No injuries were reported, and police declined to say what caused the fight.

The four men face disorderly conduct charges, while Coleman also faces a misdemeanor assault charge.

Bias crime reported

A man was randomly assaulted by another man who yelled racial slurs during the incident inside a restaurant in the 7600 block of Richmond Highway (see map) on Thursday night, according to police.
