Video: Pierson-El scores first AAF touchdown

West Potomac graduate De’Mornay Pierson-El scored his first touchdown for the Salt Lake City Stallions this past Saturday, helping lead his squad to its first win of the year.

Pierson-El’s performance in the 23-15 win over the Arizona Hotshots was his best of the season so far. In addition to his TD, Pierson-El finished with eight catches (on eight targets) for 90 yards. Pierson-El now has 13 catches on the season, which is the third-highest in the AAF.

Pierson-El graduated from West Potomac in 2014. He played college football at Nebraska before graduating in 2018.

The Salt Lake City Stallions (1-2) are one of eight teams in the Alliance of American Football, a new professional football league that began play earlier this month. The Stallions are coached by former University of Miami, Oregon State and San Francisco 49ers coach Dennis Erickson.
