Police blotter: Shoe sale turns into robbery in Woodlawn area

A shoe sale turned into an armed robbery last week in the Woodlawn area, according to Tuesday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The robbery happened on February 15 in the 8100 block of Keeler Street (see map) around 9:50 p.m., police said. The victim met someone there to sell a pair of shoes, but things went south when three other people showed up to the meeting, including one person who pulled a knife.

The suspects stole the shoes and ran away, police said. No injuries were reported.
