Police blotter: Chase leads to arrests; shots fired on Telegraph Road

Two men and two juveniles were arrested early Thursday morning after a brief police chase, according to the Fairfax County Police blotter.

The chase ended in the 8100 block of Richmond Highway around 1:40 a.m. The four people in the car then ran away, according to police, but were caught “a short distance away.”

Juwan Burns, 20, and Brandon Frazier, 18, were arrested and charged with
obstruction of justice. Two juveniles were also arrested, and police said more charges may be coming.

Shots fired on Telegraph Road

Police were called around 10:30 p.m. Tuesdays after residents heard gunshots in the 6400 block of Telegraph Road (see map).

Officers found shell casings in the street, and police report that witnesses saw a car leaving the scene. Three other possible witnesses also fled in a car, police said.

No injuries were reported.
