More than 4,200 without power in Route 1 area

Heavy winds have left more than 4,000 customers around the Richmond Highway area without power as of 10 a.m. Monday morning, according to Dominion Energy.
More than 2,700 customers in Hybla Valley and Groveton are in the dark, and another 1,500 are without power in the Fort Hunt area.
There are also reports of multiple traffic signals out along Richmond Highway.
Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay tweeted this morning that Dominion told his office they were hoping to have all power restored by noon.
The winds are likely to continue until 6 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service, which has issued a high wind warning. Winds are estimated to be between 22 and 30 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 60 miles per hour possible.
