Police blotter: 7-Eleven on South Kings Highway robbed
A 7-Eleven in the Penn Daw area was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning, according to Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
The robbery happened around 2:05 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 6327 South Kings Highway (see map). An assailant wearing a mask pulled a gun on a clerk and fled after getting an undiclosed amount of cash, according to police. No injuries were reported.
The police searched for the suspect after the incident, and the Fairfax 1 helicopter participated in the search from about 2:15 a.m. to 2:30 a.m., according to a police spokesman. Ultimately the suspect was not located.
