5904 Richmond Highway office building for sale

A six-story office building in the North Gateway/Huntington area is back on the market a little more than a year after it was purchased.

Located at 5904 Richmond Highway (see map) and known as the “Taxi Magic building” when that company resided there, the property is listed for $14.5 million, according to the commercial real estate website LoopNet.com. The Rock Creek Property Group, a Washington D.C.-based real estate investment firm, purchased the building for $8.3 million in September 2017.

The listing for 5904 Richmond Highway specifically mentions its proximity to Amazon’s future headquarters in Crystal City, and says recent renovations include lobby renovation, elevator modernization, roof replacement and newly built-out suites. Potential signage visible to drivers on the Capital Beltway is another marketing point in the listing.

The building is at 65 percent capacity, and the ad notes that the entire top floor is available. Current tenants include the International Association of Movers, Hopkins House, Envisioneering. and the Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services.
