Storck hosting Mount Vernon Town Meeting on Saturday

The 32nd annual Mount Vernon Town Meeting is this Saturday at Mount Vernon High School.
The exhibit hall doors open are scheduled to open bright and early at 7 a.m., and the presentations are slated to start at 9:30 a.m. and run through noon.
Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck will again be giving a virtual “aerial” tour of the district, using overhead imagery to guide residents through what’s happening around the district. Other speakers include:
- Board of Supervisors Chairman Sharon Bulova
- County Executive Bryan Hill
- Mount Vernon District School Board Member Karen Corbett Sanders
- Fort Belvoir Garrison Commander Col. Michael Greenburg
Mount Vernon High School is located at 8515 Old Mount Vernon Road (see map). If you can’t make it to the town meeting, you can watch it live on Channel 16 or view a steam on Storck’s Facebook page.
