Engleside Plaza gets new look

Shot of plaza from afar

Engleside Plaza was originally built in 1971.

Home to Safeway, CVS and Firehouse Subs, among other retail tenants, Engleside Plaza has been undergoing a façade upgrade and other improvements in recent weeks.

Besides being repainted with a new color scheme, the shopping center has a new parking lot and striping that provide for larger parking spaces, according to Dimitri Georgelakos, principal at KLNB, the commercial real estate company that manages the property. Georgelakos said that other “minor cosmetic upgrades” will be made to the center as well.

KLNB presently is marketing the availability at Engleside Plaza of two 2,000 square-foot spaces, a 4,000 square-foot space, an 8,525 square-foot space and a future pad site of 3,000 square feet located in the parking lot between Taco Bell and Neibauer Dental Care. One of the plaza’s vacant retail spaces was most recently occupied by 2B FIT, a gym that had opened less than a year ago.
