Support local journalism, become a patron of Covering The Corridor

Patreon log

Covering The Corridor began as a part-time project in 2016, a way to bring more local news to the Richmond Highway community. But over time it’s turned into something much larger, and it’s an honor to know so many people rely on and trust the site for the latest information about the area.

Our goal now is to make Covering The Corridor sustainable. While we’ve had some success attracting advertisers, it’s clear that the site will also need subscriber support to build a solid foundation and continue our growth. We want to create a more robust site that will consistently report news in a fast, thoughtful and independent manner. And we want to do this without restricting our content behind a paywall so that it remains free for all members of the community.

Patreon allows readers the opportunity to support Covering The Corridor and make it into a better site. Patrons can contribute any amount per month, and those who give $5 or more per month will receive monthly rewards — such as discounts at local businesses — for their continued support. From now until Dec. 17, Tanger Kabob House on Telegraph Road will give 15 percent off your next meal to patrons of Covering The Corridor.

If you are interested in becoming a patron of Covering The Corridor, please head to our Patreon page to sign up.

And thanks to everyone who follows the site. We look forward to continued growth and service to the Richmond Highway community.
