Police blotter: Report of fight leads officers to stolen SUV

Two Michigan men are facing a variety of charges after police, responding to a report the men were fighting, discovered that the vehicle they were driving was reported stolen, according to Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

Officers arrived at the 6100 bock of Richmond Highway (see map) around 10:50 p.m. on Sunday. Police say the two men were uncooperative with them, and determined during their investigation that the men were driving a stolen SUV.

Jaime Geisinger-Stott, 27, and Luis Rivera, 37, each face charges of unauthorized use and obstruction of justice. Rivera was also charged with possession of stolen credit cards and giving a false ID.

Burglary/Destruction of Property: A realtor checked on a property in the 8600 block of Highgate Road on Friday and noticed that multiple doors were open, and found extensive damage to the house’s floors from an unknown liquid.

Trespassing: Police responding to a report for a suspicious person around a vacant home in the 2300 block of Glendale Terrace around 4:35 p.m. on Saturday found a 15-year-old boy from Maryland inside the residence. Police are following up with the homeowner about pressing charges.
