Chamber of Commerce cleans up Jeff Todd Way

The Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber of Commerce held their annual Jeff Todd Way cleanup on Saturday, picking up 42 bags of garbage along the busy road.
The Jeff Todd Way cleanup is held every year, and the event holds a special place in the hearts of Chamber members. Todd was a popular local businessman and community leader who died in a car accident in 2011. Todd had served as chairman of the Mount Vernon-Lee Chamber, and owned three local Roy Rogers restaurants, including the one located at the corner of Richmond Highway and the road named in his honor.
The Chamber thanked the following businesses, individuals and groups for helping out with Saturday’s event:

- Staybridge Suites at Fort Belvoir
- Andrews Federal Credit Union
- SITCO Inc.
- Becky Todd and family
- Mount Vernon District Police Station.
