Police blotter: Teens assault, rob man in trailer park

A man was attacked and robbed in the Audubon Estates trailer park on Wednesday evening, according to Thursday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The incident happened while the man was walking with two friends around 6 p.m. in the 7800 block of Parrot Place (see map), according to police. Around 8-10 teenagers surrounded the man and told him to hand over his cell phone. The man refused, and the teens attacked him, police said.

The assailants went through the man’s pockets and stole his phone before running away. Police say the suspects were teenage black males, wearing all black, with some covering their face with masks.

The victim sustained minor injuries in the assault, but declined to be transported to the hospital. The two friends with him fled the scene, according to a police spokesman.

Burglary: Between 6 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 11 someone stole a laptop and purse from a residence in 1500 block of Belle View Boulevard (see map). Police say there was no sign of forced entry.
