Man arrested for allegedly sexually abusing child at home daycare
Police looking for more victims after arresting a man for allegedly sexually abusing a child at a Groveton-area home daycare.
Jose Garcia Urrutia Luna, 54, was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with indecent liberties with a child, sodomy and aggravated sexual battery, the Fairfax County Police announded Monday. Garcia Urrutia Luna, who is being held without bond, lived in the home at 3012 Popkins Lane (see map).
Police say they uncovered information during the investigation that leads them to believe there may be other victims.
A police spokeswoman declined to say what age the victim is, or if the abuse occurred more than once.
Elizabeth Moreno Daycare, a licensed family day home for up to seven children, operates out of the home, according to state records.
