Police arrest man accused of exposing himself in church parking lot

A Richmond Highway-area man is facing multiple charges after allegedly exposing himself to a woman in a church parking lot on Saturday morning.

Jamie Martinez Perez was arrested Monday afternoon and charged with indecent exposure, trespassing and drunk in public, according to a Fairfax County Police spokesman. Martinez Perez allegedly exposed himself to the woman in the parking lot of Plymouth Haven Baptist Church, which is located in the Waynewood neighborhood just off of Fort Hunt Road (see map).

It didn’t take long for the police to make an arrest in the case. The FCPD posted an image of the suspect on Facebook and Twitter shortly before 11 a.m. on Monday morning. By 4:30 p.m., Martinez Perez was in custody.

According to online court records, Martinez Perez lives in the 22306 zip code. His next court date is scheduled for November, and he remained in custody as of Tuesday morning.
