Police looking for help locating missing 12-year-old girl

The Fairfax County Police reported on Sept. 26 that the missing girl was found safe. Her name has been removed from the original article because she is a minor.

The Fairfax County Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 12-year-old girl from the Hybla Valley area.

[Name removed] was last seen at 1 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Arlington Drive. Police believe that she voluntarily ran away from home.

Police believe her last known location was near the 9800 block of Furnace Road in Lorton (see map), which is close to the county’s landfill and recycling center.

[Name removed] is around 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and was wearing pajamas the last time she was seen. Police also said she may be wearing an ankle bracelet.
