Police release images of man suspected of damaging vehicles

The Fairfax County Police have released security camera images of a man suspected of damaging more than 20 vehicles in a single night last month.

The vehicles were damaged early in the morning of June 17 in the Jefferson Manor and Huntington areas.

Police think the suspect is in his late teens or early 20s, and is roughly 6 feet tall and 170 pounds.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Mount Vernon District station at 703-360-8400. Anonymous tips can be submitted on the Crime Solvers website, or texted to “TIP817” plus the message to CRIMES (274637). Anonymous tipsters are eligible for rewards anywhere from $100 to $1,000 if their tip leads to an arrest, according to police.
