Where Mount Vernon’s class of 2018 will be attending college

The Mount Vernon High School class of 2018 consists of 490 students who will be attending 76 different colleges next fall, according to data provided by the school.

Mount Vernon increased their college-bound rate this year, and the graduating Majors will attend schools from Brown to West Point to numerous in-state schools such as William & Mary, UVA, VCU, Virginia Tech, Christopher Newport, ODU and more.

Mount Vernon’s seniors will be receiving their diplomas Friday afternoon during a 2 p.m. graduation ceremony at the school.
