Mount Vernon Nights concert series kicks off tonight
The Mount Vernon Nights concert series begins its 2018 season Friday night at Grist Mill Park with a performance by folk artist David Wilcox.
The show starts 7:30 p.m., and is the first of 14 Friday night performances at the park this summer. There is also a separate series of Mount Vernon Nights concerts at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton. Those shows are on Saturday nights, starting tomorrow with the South County High School Jazz Band at 7 p.m.
The Mount Vernon Nights concert series will feature a wide variety of artists, including reggae, country, jazz, blues and more. The full list of performers can be seen below:
