Little Caesars set to open soon in new location
The Little Caesars formerly located at Woodlawn Shopping Center has found a new home along the Corridor at 8246 Richmond Highway.
Located in the small strip mall anchored by Aldi and Rite Aid, the pizza shop will tentatively open its doors on Sunday, April 1 after completing its final inspections and permitting, according to owner Jaidev Kang. The new location provides “lots of visibility,” he said, noting that the familiar Little Caesars storefront signage was put in place this past weekend.
Kang said that the store has already hired around 15 staff members and will be interviewing about 10 more this week. A sign on the front door says that starting wages are $9 per hour.
Meanwhile, down the street at 8428 Richmond Highway, the former Cuco Lindo restaurant is undergoing renovation under new owner Oscar Chavez. A sign over the door says it will hold its grand re-opening soon as a family restaurant.
How about one at Jefferson Manor shopping center ..by Metro
Will pass your comment along to the owner.
Hope they migjt sell the Little Caesars pizza bags like a Woodbridelge one did a few years back. Would love to buy more for the family.
Hmmmm. I wonder if they will be taking part in the lunchtime deal that’s scheduled nationwide on April 2 (provided the store’s opening date sticks, of course)? On the 2nd night of the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament corporate tweeted that if a 16 beat a 1 that night they’d give away 1 lunch-sized pepperoni and 20 oz Pepsi beverage (participating locations, 1 per family, while supplies last, etc) from 11:30-1 on the 2nd. And Loyola-Chicago made it happen.
*Hangs head in shame*
UMBC was the 16 that made it happen.
