A man robbed the SunTrust Bank on Route 1 in the Huntington area around lunchtime on Friday.
The robber entered the bank, located at 5922 Richmond Highway (see map), around 12:20 p.m. and implied to a worker that he had a weapon, according to a police spokeswoman.
The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of money, and no injuries were reported.
Police described the suspect as a while male around 50 years old, around 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds.
