Police blotter: Group robs tobacco store at gunpoint

A group of men robbed a tobacco store at gunpoint Monday night in the Penn Daw area, according to today’s Fairfax Police blotter. 

The incident happened around 9:40 p.m. at the Tobbaco Colony at 6231 Richmond Highway (see map). The group of men — police did not say exactly how many — entered the store and one pulled out a gun. The men asked for money and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

No one in the store was injured, police said. No description of the assailants was given.
