Two Bros. Soul Food Kitchen and Lounge on Richmond Highway has closed because of issues with the building, and the owners are planning to relocate to a new location, according to a message on the restaurant’s Facebook page.

The Facebook post showed a major leak in the roof which was allowing water to pour into what appears to be the kitchen area.

“This is one of the many problems we’ve had to deal with everytime it rains,” the post said. “This building had so many issues that it forced us to make some important business decisions. The total to repair would cost over $80K. We are not closing for good but relocating. Stay tuned!”

Two Bros. had previously run into electrical problems and closed temporarily after its grand opening in May.

Management could not be reached for comment on Wednesday.

The Two Bros. building was built in 1969, and is owned by White’s General Partnership, according to county property records.
