Police blotter: Two businesses burglarized early Sunday morning

A thrift store and a restaurant in the Hybla Valley area were burglarized early Sunday morning at almost the same time, according to today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The Thrift Store of Virginia at 3115 Sherwood Hall Lane (see map) was broken into around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, police said. Merchandise and an undisclosed amount of money were stolen.

At the same time on the other side of Route 1, the Wings To Go restaurant at 7678-C Richmond Highway (see map) in the Mount Vernon Plaza shopping center was also broken into. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

No desciption of suspects was provided by police.
