sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt in Hybla Valley closes

The Hybla Valley Sweet Frog is closed and the sign is on the outside has come down.

The sweetFrog Frozen Yogurt shop in Hybla Valley has closed after four years in business.

The shop closed its doors on Oct. 22, according to its Facebook page, and the sign on the building’s facade has already been removed. A message on the Facebook page said they intend to open at a different location, but did not specify where. 

The Hybla Valley sweetFrog, located at 7770A Richmond Highway, had been open since Oct. 2013.

sweetFrog fans need not panic; another shop is located just up the highway in the Kings Crossing Shopping Center near Walmart.

Frozen yogurt stores have had a rough time in the Richmond Highway area in the past year, with the Zinga! Frozen Yogurt in the Beacon Center shutting its doors this summer. Even the Kings Crossing sweetFrog was closed for a few months in 2015-2016 before reopening under new ownership.
