Police blotter: Firearms stolen from home in Hybla Valley area

Multiple firearms were stolen from a home in the Hybla Valley sometime on Wednesday, according to today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

A homeowner in the 8100 block of Norwood Drive reported to police that several weapons had been stolen when he returned to his house around 4:20 p.m. A police spokesman declined to say the exact number of guns stolen, but said that both long rifles and handguns were among the missing firearms.

There was no sign of forced entry, and no suspect description at this time, according to police.
