The McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Farmers Market is seen in 2016.
The popular McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Farmers Market will kick off its 2017 season on May 3, the Fairfax County Park Authority announced this week.
As always, the market will be held at the Sherwood Regional Library, which is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane (see map). It will be open every Wednesday from 8 a.m.-noon until December 20.
The following vendors will be this year’s market, according to the county website:

- Grace’s Pastries
- Great Harvest Bread Company
- Honey Brook Farms
- Honeycomb Heroes
- Laurel Grove Farms
- Misty Meadow Farm Creamery
- OCHOA PRODUCE
- Salsa Las Glorias, L.C.
- Sharkawi Farm
- The Jammerie
- Three Way Farms
- Twin Springs Fruit Farm
- Valentine’s Bakery & Meats
There is also a Master Gardener Plant Clinic on site to any answer questions.
SNAP is accepted at the market.
No pets are allowed at the market, but service animals are permitted.
The McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Market is one of 11 farmers markets operated by the Fairfax County Park Authority. A privately operated farmers market operated by Smart Markets is returning to a lot next to the Huntington Metro later this year, according the property’s owners.
