Police blotter: Woman robbed at knifepoint; man seen committing lewd act
An 18-year-old woman was injured during a robbery last night near the Mount Vernon Crossroads shopping center in the 7900 block of Richmond Highway, according to today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
The victim was taken to the hospital after suffering what police described as a “minor cut” during the incident, which happened around 8:45 p.m.
According to police, the assailant approached the woman as she was walking across a parking lot. He pulled the knife on her, took unspecified property and fled the scene, police said.
Sex offense reported
Around 1:45 p.m. yesterday a woman reported to police that a man drove up to her and began masturbating.
The incident occurred near an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Furman Lane. The suspect’s car was described as a gray sedan.
