Police blotter: Man robbed at gunpoint by teenagers in Groveton area
Three teenagers robbed a 38-year-old man on Route 1 near the Cherry Arms apartments on Friday night, according today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
The three assailants approached the man, who was walking home, around 9 p.m. in the 7100 block of Richmond Highway They pulled a handgun and demanded the victim’s phone and cash, police said. The three robbers, who were described by police as being between 16-18 years old, then ran off and then fled in a car. No description of the vehicle was given.
Police reported the victim did not need medical attention.
