Police blotter: Helicopter, dogs search for man who robbed Taco Grande

Police searched for an armed robbery suspect with a helicopter and K9 units after he held up the Taco Grande at 8733 Cooper Road last night, according to today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The incident happened after the man came into the store a little after 9 p.m. and ordered some food, police said. When the cashier opened the register to take his payment, he pulled a handgun and told the employee to hand over all the money, police said.

The assailant took an undisclosed amount of money and fled onto Cooper Road, but was not located by responding officers.
