Police release video of Quality Inn armed robbery

Fairfax County Police released security camera footage of a recent robbery at a local hotel in attempt to get the public’s help identifying the culprits.

The video shows two hooded men entering the Quality Inn at 7212 Richmond Highway shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 15. Without breaking stride, one of the men jumps over the service counter as soon as he enters, while his accomplice pulls a handgun on two employees.

According to the time shown on the video, the men are in and out of the hotel in less than a minute.

The car allegedly used by the suspects is seen in the video as well; it appears to be a compact silver sedan.

The suspects are described by police as black males, each approximately 25 to 30 years old. One is estimated to be around 6 feet tall, while the other is believed to be around 5 feet 10 inches tall.
