New tobacco store coming to Penn Daw area

The empty space in this shopping center has been vacant since at least 2012.
A tobacco store is moving into a long-vacant space in a strip of shops on Route 1 in Penn Daw.
Tobacco Colony has been approved for permits at the 6231 Richmond Highway, which is located between a Benjamin Moore paint store and a Cricket Wireless.
The space has been empty since at least July 2012, according to images from Google Maps. Images show a carpet store there in 2007, and a hardware store there in 2008.
Attempts to reach the owner of Tobacco Colony were unsuccessful.
