Fire stations having open houses on Saturday

All Fairfax County Fire and Rescue stations are opening their doors to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a great chance for kids (and adults) to see firetrucks and rescue squads, as well as meet your local firefighters and check out their gear.

Fairfax holds these open houses annually as part of national Fire Prevention Week. Kids can learn more about fire safety through displays, games and other activities at the stations.

Here’s the four stations in the Richmond Highway area:
